PumPums Chat answers messages sent to the PumPums Facebook Page and to @lovepumpums on Instagram. This page says what we keep when you message us, why, and for how long.

What we store

Your messages to us and our replies, with their times, and links to any photos or files you send.
Your Facebook or Instagram ID for our Page (a page-scoped number, not your login), and the name and username Meta shares with us, so we can reply to you and greet you by name.
Which ad or link you came from, if you started the chat from one of our ads or links (Meta tells us the ad).
Link clicks. When we send you a link to lovepumpums.com, it goes through our short link. We record when it was opened, the browser's user-agent, the referring page and the country. We set no cookies.

How we use it

To answer your questions and help you order.
To see which of our ads lead to conversations and orders, so we know what works. The link we send carries tags that tell our store the order came from this chat.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to PumPums.

Who else handles it

Meta carries the messages (Messenger and Instagram).
Cloudflare hosts this service and its database.
Our AI provider (Anthropic) processes the conversation to draft replies, and our team reviews drafts in an internal team chat (Telegram).
Shopify runs checkout on lovepumpums.com. What you enter there is covered by our store's privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Conversation records, link clicks and ad details are deleted automatically 12 months after the conversation's last message. You can ask us to delete them sooner (below).

Your choices

You can stop at any time: just don't reply, or delete the conversation in Messenger or Instagram.
